Sovenance is a top down pixel art adventure by Protocere with a focus on fast-paced combat and rewarding exploration. Uncover the secrets of a magical world as you commune with gods, learn powerful spells, and defeat dangerous monsters and demons.

Narrative Driven Campaign

The story follows Pela, a former student of a large magical academy torn apart in a violent coup over the Emperor's throne. Embark on a journey with trusty companion Professor Bloomquist to the heart of a shattered empire as an impending catastrophic war looms. During your journey, you will engage with a varied cast of interesting characters who will choose to either guide or stifle your progress.

Varied, Fast Combat

Engage in exciting combat with a wide array of abilities. Slice through monsters with your sword, cast flashy spells with mnemancy, and pick off foes from afar with your bow. Combat in Sovenance is linked with your unique progression of upgrades and spells. As you face tougher and more magically inclined enemies, you will gain a diverse suite of powerful skills to choose from.

An Empire to Explore

Though the story in Sovenance is linear, the majority of levels have wide optional spaces to explore and interact with. Mysterious puzzles, prized loot, and grand boss fights await. A detailed world with rich exploration opportunities is a central pillar in Sovenance's design.

Demo Information
